Contraindication

Amoxycillin and Clavulanate is contraindicated in the following scenarios:

  • For the treatment of acute otitis media (wet or bacterial sinus infection)
  • For the treatment of bacterial sinusitis
  • In the setting of middle ear infections
  • In the setting of bronchitis or pneumonia
  • In the setting of intra-abdominal infection
  • In the setting of intra-semen stage (infection after tonsillitis)

Side Effects
